And now for the weather !!

Rainy with showers clearing from the east with sunshine to follow in the afternoon....

and at 7am when only the catering team and some of the leaders were up, it was tipping it down.

Flagbreak at 07:45 and the rain had eased considerably.

As the clans organised themselves for either biking, or a 3 Day hike, the weather didnt look like it was going to change much, but as they station cleared of scouts and explorers, so did the clouds.

Although the sun did shine, the wind blew too and it blew a fair gust. The sailing clans were treated to some fairly blustery conditions and most struggled to keep the masts pointing skywards. After a wet morning and a very blowy afternoon, the sailing was brought to an early close, much to the approval of most.

The weather up the other end of the Loch was a complete contrast with sunshine and gentle clouds drifting over Lord Melvilles monument just outside Comrie.

Some more 3 Day hikers have returned and our Network clan have also returned frm their 5 Day mini-expedition.

Another good day up here has been had by all....
